The Youth section of Caldecote F.C. was started by Andy Shilton and Andy Trollope in 1993.

They started the club in order to give the local village a team to play in once they were to old for Cub football.

In the 2008/2009 season there are currently eight youth teams:

U16's, U15’s, U14's, U13's and U12's playing 11-a-side in the Chiltern Youth League

U10's A & B, and U8's playing 7-a-side mini soccer in the Filmergraphics League

The mini soccer teams play on the field in front of Upper Caldecote Lower School.
The 11 a side teams play at The Playing Fields in Upper Caldecote.

All matches are held on a Sunday, morning for all teams upto and including Under 12's, afternoon for the Under 14 - Under 16's.

This does change slightly towards the end of the season when catch-up is necessary for any games.

Club colours are White Shirts with Black Shorts & Socks.

Caldecote Youth FC - A Chartered Standards Development Club

In January 2002 Caldecote Youth FC Committee agreed that the club should put itself forward to attain the FA Chartered Standards Development Club status.  The decision was a logical extension to the club development but provided a focus to development to move the club forwards to best practice.

Since January 2002 the committee have been putting the necessary infrastructure into place with a view to putting the submission into the FA in the summer of 2003.  This document was part of the formal submission to the Bedfordshire FA.  It now forms the basis of the clubs continued development.

Chartered Standards Development club status was awarded in the summer of 2003.  The smallest club in the eastern counties to achieve the award and the first in Bedfordshire.
