The Youth section of Caldecote F.C. was started by Andy Shilton and Andy Trollope in 1993.
They started the club in order to give the local village a team to play in once they were to old for Cub football.
In the 2010/2011 season there are currently three youth teams:
U18's, U14’s, and U12's playing 11-a-side football in the Chiltern Youth League.
This season there are not any teams playing 7-a-side mini soccer in the Bedfordshire Mini Soccer League
The 11 a side teams play at The Playing Fields in Upper Caldecote.
Matches are held on a Sunday, morning 10.30 KO for Under 12's, and in the afternoon at 2.30pm (2pm after the clocks change) for the Under 14 & Under 18's.
This does change slightly towards the end of the season when catch-up is necessary for any games lost due to bad weather etc.
Club colours are White Shirts with Black Shorts & Socks.

Caldecote Youth FC - A Chartered Standards Development Club
2010 Update - this season, as there are not any mini soccer teams, the club did not have its Charter Standard status renewed.
In January 2002 Caldecote Youth FC Committee agreed that the club should put itself forward to attain the FA Chartered Standards Development Club status. The decision was a logical extension to the club development but provided a focus to development to move the club forwards to best practice.
Since January 2002 the committee have been putting the necessary infrastructure into place with a view to putting the submission into the FA in the summer of 2003. This document was part of the formal submission to the Bedfordshire FA. It now forms the basis of the clubs continued development.
Chartered Standards Development club status was awarded in the summer of 2003. The smallest club in the eastern counties to achieve the award and the first in Bedfordshire.
Club Objectives
The club exists to provide:
a link from the youngest ages of football through to adult football within the village community
a focus for youth activity within the village through football

a vehicle for building sporting values
a positive social experience
This will be achieved through providing coaching and running teams between the ages of Under 9 to Under 16 for both boys and girls.
