Introduction        -       updated version April 2008

In January 2002 Caldecote Youth FC Committee agreed that the club should put itself forward to attain the FA Chartered Standards Development Club status.  The decision was a logical extension to the club development but provided a focus to development to move the club forwards to best practice. 

January 2002 saw the committee putting the necessary infrastructure into place with a view to putting the submission into the FA in the summer of 2003.  The development document was part of the formal submission to the Bedfordshire FA.  It now forms the basis of the clubs continued development.

Chartered Standards Development club status was awarded in the summer of 2003.  The smallest club in the eastern counties to achieve the award and the first in Bedfordshire. Our status was renewed in 2007 and we have since updated our development plan. A copy of which can be seen by contacting the club secretary.
