We took 74 players (three teams) and parents down to Selsey nr Chichester the week leading upto Easter, and, without exception, everyone had a brilliant time. The weather was mixed, very cold and wet on the first playing day but then the rest of the week our fortunes changed. Our under 11’s seven-a-side team were fantastic, they played superbly and got through to the final of the tournament, losing out to a better team on the day. This is the best achievement of any of our teams from the past tours.
Both the under 14’s and the Under 11’s (eleven-a-side) teams also won the sportsmanship trophies for their groups which is a real credit to the club.
Only our Under 13’s came away without any silver-ware, but we are extremely proud of them none the less for taking part and behaving so well.
